Bamboo Straight knitting needles

Straight knitting needles are generally used for flat knitting e.g. if you're making a scarf, a cardigan or a jumper that is made in flat pieces then a straight needle is what you need.

One drawback with straight needles is that if you're in a confined space and sitting next to someone you might poke them with it, but they are available in different lengths, so get the ones that suit you.
